Hi folks.. I'm Mark, almost 44, disabled, living in Stoke On Trent.

13 years ago I broke my ankle in 7 places. After 4 major operations all the major nerves in my ankle have been severed and having contracted MRSA and other types of bacterial infections i'm left with CRPS (Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome). In order to manage pain i have to take over 20 tablets a day but the best form of pain relief is to focus on my woodwork. It alleviates tension and stress too. I've only being making toys/models for a little over a year. but my knowledge and skill has developed tremendously. I've always been a fairly competent woodworker so switching to making toys wasn't that difficult. Attention to detail and precision is key.. and whilst i struggle some days i always try to deliver my best work in all that i do.
