Thought I’d post a picture about how handy small, miscellaneous pieces of wood can be utilized. These patterns are for the final two Quads and you can see how few cutoffs are needed for the two Quads.
On bike 6 i did have 4 wheels on at first but to me it did not look right and did think maybe better with 3 wheels you can make it with 4 wheel if you want too.
I got the framework for the remaining two Quads cut and assembled leaving the wheels for the next step. these 2 mainframes are made from Poplar while the front bike has Cherry as a feature and the back bike has Walnut as accented wood.
Today started off with Fall Season coolness and time for my hobby for a wonderful start of a day. I was able to make the wheels this morning for the final two Quads. I
A group photo of the 6 Quads with the finishing process left to do and that will be a spray polyurethane. The wheels are only test fitted now and will be taken off and sprayed separately. I’m quite happy with this build and for just minimal parts a builder can make an excellent Quad . These are made at 75% to match scale of another vehicle build but my mind is wonder to a build of 150% with 3” wheels to make an extraordinary but easy set of Quads.
They look very good all together and for so many few parts they look outstanding. I did think last night i am going to do a bonus plan set for them maybe 2 or 3 more bike as a add on to the plan set.
Today I was finally able to get back into the hobby shed to work on the 3 bonus Quads. I was able to cut the main frames out of some hard maple I have.
My previous photo shows my recent finishing of the 3 bonus Quads. Woods are Walnut,Maple,Oak and a mystery wood for the back 2 Quads wheels . Polyurethane spray finish will be used when temperatures warm up outside as it’s a brisk 39 degrees Fahrenheit today.
They look so good fantastic i think kids would love these toys and the wood colors look perfect.

Wow they look so good i think some kid will love to have these bikes.
I just love to see the plan sets come together and gives me more ideas what to do to make more plan sets.

2 or 3 mores Quads added may mean I need a larger bandsaw table for a group photo ! !
Bonus Quads when finished i will Email out to the people what have the Quads plan set.
Looking good, that first one has the look of a Jaguar !

What a fantastic set of models now you have and really do like the jaguar bike with the dark wood it really does make the bike stand out.
Thanks Lloyd, dark wood is Walnut from an old shelf. My internal cuts improved with each Quad.
